Obviously, this home is a complete show-stopper! I've been studying architecture from the 1900's and our Queen Anne Revival is truly unique. With two levels with full wrap around porches, and then a bonus third story balcony, we can't help but be reminded of a wedding cake when we look at our home! The feminine curves and whimsical touches beckon you to come closer, to walk up those grand steps and see the detail that has been thoughtfully put into every inch of this home.
With sixteen columns (the larger ones being fiberglass replacements in the 60's), original windows, wood siding and two outbuildings, we are just realizing the amount of maintenance that this historical home is going to need -- sooner than later! Phase one was getting the inside livable for our family, but now our focus is on the immediate issues with our home's exterior.

These are some of the very first photos we took of the exterior house
before we moved in.
The majority of our columns are in beautiful condition, but due to faulty gutters (which we repaired in 2020), years of water damage has left two columns in dire need of repairs. This column's wood base completely rotted off, we have a new one made, and will be sharing this restoration process!
